Help! I can't sign in.

This could be caused by a number of problems, the most common of which is a wrong or misspelled password. Check to make sure the Caps Lock on the keyboard is not on (passwords are case sensitive). Also, if in the position to do so, check the Cookie Blocking on your browser. DigitalPulp.org needs to place a cookie in order to tell the different pages in the site that you have signed in and it is actually you using the site. If working on a public computer you may have to seek down the system administrator and employ her help.

Help! The site just doesn't seem to work for me.

DigitalPulp.org does make extensive use of javascript, and although it seeks to keep everything W3C compliant, this does not mean it will work with all browsers. It has been thoroughly tested with the Firefox browser - and highly recommends it. It has been briefly found to work with MS Internet Explorer 6, Safari, and Konqueror, but no promises are made for these browsers.

I'm being pestered by another member, can you make it stop?

It's unfortunate, but it happens. Thankfully, you're not powerless in the situation. If you have the person's User ID, you can add it to your blacklist thus banning that member from contacting you through the site. Usually this is enough to get the message across. If further abuse continues, contact us using the Contact link above.

I'm being swamped with correspondence! How do I turn it off?

The price of fame is the inability to get anything done because everyone wants to talk to you. Not so with DigitalPulp.org!

At the bottom of the Edit Profile page is an option called Communication Method. It allows you to limit your communications with the rest of the site, possibly allowing in only the authors in your watchlist, or by turning it off altogether (for like when you want to go on vacation). Nothing rude happens when someone goes to contact you, the button which would normally be clicked to add a message simply can't be found.
